How did we choose the products we work with?

We appreciate the clean air and the connection to the environment around us, the beach/ocean at our front and the mountains behind us. And it’s because of this, and the impact for your health, that all of the products we use for our treatments have to be low-tox.

Along with knowing a product is low tox we also need to be sure that the results and benefits of the products you apply is there. We aren’t distracted by flashy marketing or the newest craze. We need to know that you will see an obvious difference for your physical health, the way that you’re feeling and the physical appearance of your skin.

So here’s the full story of why we chose Sodashi:

Sodashi is an Australian brand, but it was while Jaclyn (our Owner Director/Naturopath) was working in Dubai that she first came across the luxurious brand and fell in love with them and results that they gave.

The founder Megan Larsen, from WA, was really one of the pioneers of effective natural skincare in the 90’s. Sodashi doesn’t use any chemicals in their skincare, they’re 100% natural and are results driven and use therapeutic grade ethically sourced essential oils and plant actives. And another thing that we love, rather than using any synthetic vitamins, Sodashi relies on the naturally high levels of vitamins from the plants selected to be included. You can think, good nutrition for your skin.

You will see results both after your treatment and when you take your Sodashi products home with you. These products don’t just sit on the surface of your skin, looking temporarily pretty. For more than 30 years Aromatherapy Associates, has been one of the world leaders in Aromatherapy. They truly have created formulas which help to create both physical and emotional differences in each person that uses them.

Every single Massage that we do here at Spa 180 relies on the carefully selected Aromatherapy Associates oil for that specific person. It means that while your massage is tailored to your body, the oils used are tailored to how you’re feeling physically and emotionally.

And the best way for us to work that out? We will start your treatment by asking “How are you feeling today?” We genuinely mean it. With the information you give us it means we can best help to tailor your oil choice to make sure you get the most out of your treatment.
